Cold Plunge Tubs: The Range, Compared
Every plunge in this range plugs into a standard household outlet. What separates them is the chiller, how cold and how warm each one goes, the length of the tub, and how it is set up for your space.
A cold plunge is a chilled, filtered vessel that holds a set temperature without ice. The chiller does the work; the tub is the container. That is why the comparison below leads with temperature range and power before anything else.

How to choose
Start with length
Full immersion with your legs extended is the experience most people are buying. The Aspen is sized for users up to 6 ft 9 in, and the Peak is the longest tub in the range at 85 inches. If anyone in the household is over six feet, start here.
Then the chiller
The Aspen, Frost and PolarSpa each run a 1HP chiller. The Peak runs a 2HP chiller, the most capable in the range, which matters most where the tub sits in direct summer sun or a hot climate.
Decide whether you want warm water too
Three of the four also heat: the PolarSpa runs 37–107°F, the Frost 37–108°F, and the Peak 39–104°F, so one vessel can serve as a cold plunge in the morning and a warm soak in the evening. The Aspen is a dedicated cold plunge that reaches 37°F.
Confirm the floor
The Aspen weighs about 1,150 lbs filled. Ground-level concrete, pavers or a garage slab carry that without discussion. Any suspended floor, such as a deck, an upper storey or a room over a crawlspace, needs a contractor's review first.

Common questions
- How cold do these cold plunges get?
- The PolarSpa, Aspen and Frost reach 37°F and the Peak reaches 39°F. Each holds its set temperature with an integrated chiller, so no ice is needed.
- Do these cold plunges need special wiring?
- No hardwiring or 240V service is needed. The PolarSpa runs on a standard 110V outlet, the Aspen and Peak on a 120V / 15A outlet, and the Frost on a 120V / 20A outlet.
- Which cold plunges also heat?
- The PolarSpa (37–107°F), Frost (37–108°F) and Peak (39–104°F) both chill and heat. The Aspen is a dedicated cold plunge.
- Can these go outdoors?
- Yes. All four are rated for indoor or outdoor placement. Indoors, plan the drain before the first fill.
- Can a cold plunge go on a deck or second floor?
- Only after a contractor or structural engineer has reviewed the framing. The Aspen weighs about 1,150 lbs filled.
