Cabin Saunas: Outdoor Cedar Rooms
A cabin sauna is a small building, and it is planned like one. All four here are built to order in Eastern White Cedar, from a seven-foot pod to cabins over eight feet tall.
The CT MiniPOD is a curved four-person pod, the most compact four-person sauna in the line. The Granby is the compact, electric-only cabin. The Palmer and Georgian share the same exterior footprint; the Georgian seats six and can be ordered with a porch or a changeroom.

Measure the delivery path against the shipping crate rather than the finished cabin, prepare a level base, and confirm the circuit for the heater you select before ordering.

Common questions
- What size heater does a cabin sauna need?
- The Granby is rated for 4.5 kW, the MiniPOD and Palmer for 6 kW, and the Georgian for 7.5 to 9 kW. A heater sized to the room cycles less and works its elements less hard than an oversized one.
- What electrical service does a cabin sauna need?
- With the recommended heaters: the Granby a 240V / 30A circuit, the MiniPOD and Palmer a 240V / 40A circuit, and the Georgian a 240V / 40A circuit at 7.5 kW or 50A at 9 kW. All are hardwired by a licensed electrician.
- Can a cabin sauna be wood-fired?
- The MiniPOD, Palmer and Georgian can. Each then needs a chimney kit; the Palmer and Georgian also need a floor plate, because the cabin floor is combustible. The Granby is electric only.
- How long does a cabin sauna take to build?
- Cabin saunas are built to order. Your concierge confirms the current ship date before the order is accepted.
- What warranty does a cabin sauna carry?
- A five-year residential limited warranty from Dundalk LeisureCraft. Electric heaters carry their own manufacturer warranty. See the Warranty Policy for full terms.
